What this site collects

This site does not require an account and does not ask you to sign in. It receives personal details only when you choose to send an enquiry. Separately, it uses measurement tools that record how the site is used, as described below.

The enquiry form

When you press Send, the details you typed are sent over an encrypted connection to a small program on this website’s server: your name, email address, phone number if you gave one, the “I am a” and “Material interest” choices, the project type, project location and timing if you chose them, the material or project, your message and your preferred contact method. The program does two things with them:

• Email. It emails the enquiry to Lumiere’s enquiry mailbox so the team can reply to you.
• Backup copy. It saves a copy of the same enquiry in a private file on the website’s server, which is not publicly reachable. The copy exists so an enquiry is not lost if an email fails to arrive, and so Lumiere can follow up enquiries and see which advertising or listings lead to them. How long these copies are kept is still to be confirmed by Lumiere; until then they are kept only for as long as they are needed for those purposes.

With the enquiry, the email and the backup copy also include: the first page you opened on this site in that browser tab, the website that linked you here, any advertising or campaign tags that were in that link (for example a Google Ads click identifier or utm_ tags), the page you sent the form from, and your browser’s user-agent string. Until you send the form, those tags are kept in your browser, for that tab only (session storage). The one exception is a press on a WhatsApp link: the record of that press, which is part of the measurement described under Measurement and advertising, can include the utm_ tags and Google Ads campaign details from the link that brought you to this site (such as the campaign, ad group, keyword, device and the general area the ad click came from), which suggested message was opened and the stone it names, and whether a Google Ads click identifier was present, but never the identifier itself.

Spam protection

• The form contains a hidden field that people do not see, and a timing check that turns away forms sent faster than a person could fill them in. Turned-away attempts are not emailed or stored as enquiries; only the time, the reason and the scrambled connection value described next are noted.
• To stop repeated automated sending, the server counts enquiries from each connection using a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of the IP address, not the address itself. Counts older than one hour are discarded the next time the form is used.
• If your browser runs without JavaScript, the timing check uses one small cookie, lum_ft, set for the form’s server address. It holds only a signed time stamp and expires within a day.

Calls, WhatsApp and email

If you call, message or email us, we hold your contact details and the content of that conversation for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to keep a record of the work. A WhatsApp link on this site opens WhatsApp with a suggested first message, which you can change or delete before sending; nothing is sent until you send it. WhatsApp messages are handled under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy.

Measurement and advertising

Lumiere uses Google Tag Manager to run Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads measurement on this site. These tools set cookies in your browser and send Google information about your visit: the pages you view, your device and browser type, an approximate location derived from your IP address, how you reached the site (including an ad click), and actions such as pressing a call, WhatsApp, email or directions link, following a link to plan a visit, request availability or make a trade enquiry, opening a material, or successfully sending the enquiry form. When you send the enquiry form, your email address and phone number are also passed to Google Ads in a one-way scrambled (hashed) form, so we can measure whether our ads led to your enquiry. Your name and message are never passed. If your enquiry later becomes a project, we may tell Google Ads so, again using the ad-click identifier or the same hashed details. Google Analytics never receives your name, email address, phone number or message. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not pass these details. Lumiere uses this to understand which pages and advertisements lead to enquiries.

Google’s handling of this data is governed by Google’s own privacy policy. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your details to anyone.
• We do not use your enquiry to add you to a marketing list without asking.

Third-party content

Besides the measurement tools above, two things on this site are loaded from Google, which may see your IP address and set its own cookies when they load:

• Google Fonts — used for the typefaces.
• Google Maps — the embedded map on the Visit page.

The links to Lumiere Luxury Stones on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn are plain links that open in a new tab. Nothing is loaded from those networks until you follow a link, and what happens there is governed by their own policies.

The photographs, renders and graphics on this site were supplied by Lumiere Luxury Stones from its own media library and are used with permission. Design visualisations are labelled and are not photographs of completed projects.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, including any stored copy of an enquiry you sent, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Email info@lumiereluxurystones.com, call WhatsApp / Ashish on +1 (561) 938-1796, or call the Office on +1 (561) 727-8793, and we will deal with it.
